Management personnel arrested over corruption charges will not be allowed back at work until their cases are completed, Council has said.
The local authority dismissed rumours that some of those arrested in corruption busts had returned to work.
“Contrary to speculation and misinformation doing the rounds, Harare City Council has not written to any of its middle and senior staffers who are currently before the courts to resume work.

“Currently positions of those not reporting for work have been temporarily filled by staffers next in command until such a time their matters are resolved”, Council said.
